10 Years of Green City, Clean Waters

10 Years of Green City, Clean Waters

Client: Philadelphia Water Department
Project Date: 2021

Extended branding campaign celebrating 10 years of Green City, Clean Waters – Philadelphia’s 25-year plan to make local waterways cleaner and neighborhoods greener.

The focus of this year-long initiative was to honor various communities that have been instrumental to the success of Green City, Clean Waters. Custom illustrations, filtered photos, and other design elements supported the six “chapters” of this project.

The campaign mark highlights the intersection of the green infrastructure, stormwater, and the people that bring the program to life.

A limited color palette and cohesive style helped to unify the custom spot illustrations and photos associated with each chapter.

A full website supports this campaign, with videos, photos, and blog posts for each chapter of the story.

To celebrate the 10 years, PWD hosted an event with community members outside of the Crane Arts Building on the 1400 block of North American Street. As a thank you, community members received a custom pin to honor their contribution to Green City, Clean Waters.
